How Can We Be Born Again?

John 3:1-21

Nicodemus, “a man of the Pharisees.”
Pharisees were elite theologians dedicated to studying and living out every detail of their religious laws.

What Jesus Tells Us

  1. It is a must. John 3:3
  2. It is a work of God. John 3:6
  3. Others experience it. John 3:11
  4. It results in eternal life. John 3:15
  5. It comes by faith. John 3:16
  6. It is for everyone. John 3:16-17
  7. It changes us. John 3:21

How Can It Happen To Me?

  1. Like Nicodemus, make inquiry.
  2. Recognize it as a gift from God. John 3:6
  3. Trust Jesus. John 3:16
  4. Receive Jesus. John 1:12
  5. Turn away from rebellion. Acts 3:19
  6. Acknowledge your allegiance to Jesus. Romans 10:9
