Is My Faith Adequate?

Matthew 13:31-32

I’m often asked, “How is Danielle? Is there progress?”

The people of Jesus’ day wanted God’s Messiah to rule. Matthew 13:34 indicates that, unlike the parables of the treasure and the pearl, this one was addressed to “the crowd.”

Some believe that it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I’ve found. I found it is the small things. Every day deeds by ordinary folk that keeps the darkness at bay.  – Gandalf

Impatience can lead to anxiety, doubt, error, and surrender.

Progress is slow and difficult. This leads many to think their faith is not adequate.

THREE REASONS FOR HOPE

1. Small does not mean ineffectual.
   
2. It is not the size of our faith, it’s the power of our God.
   
3. Our tree will provide refuge for others.
   We are the branches, leaves, and fruit of the Holy Spirit.   John 15:1-8
   
   Small things have large impacts on us and others.
