“I Will Come Back” Jesus

1. Be careful what you believe. II Thessalonians 2:1-2
2. Jesus’ coming will be preceded by apostasy and the anti-Christ. II Thessalonians 2:3-5 NKJV
   Apostasy means rebellion.
   Jesus quoted the Old Testament 180 times.
3. What and who holds lawlessness at bay?  II Thessalonians 2:6-7
   St. Augustine, “I admit that the meaning of this completely escapes me.”
4. Satan will try, but Christ will win. II Thessalonians 2:8-12
   Greek “epiphaeia” in English is “epiphany.”
   Shining forth or brightness or enlightenment.

Speaking Personally

1. Good, Godly followers differ. 
2. Jesus Christ will come to earth.
3. We don’t and can’t know when.
4. Jesus’ second coming is to be strength and comfort to the believers.
