God Uses Imagination to Change Us
I Samuel 30:1-8; 16-20
Pastor Terry Wilcox

What we see in our imaginations hugely effects what we achieve and who we become.

A crisis can come between us and God. It begins to cast a shadow of doubt and fear, which causes us to stop moving forward in faith.

The real measure of a person is not what they achieve, but what it takes to make them quit. -Dr. Jerry Falwell

God is for us!

Genesis 39:2; Deuteronomy 28:13; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 35:27; John 10:10; I Corinthians 15:5; II Corinthians 2:14

God gave David a new picture and David painted the picture for his soldiers.

Where Can I Get the Paint and Brushes?

Ecclesiastes 3:1; Ecclesiastes 3:2-9

What God called Abraham from: Genesis 12:1-9
Sumerian civilization of Mesopotamia (Iraq).
Ur was a city of culture and sophistication.

They worshiped Nanna-Sin: to moon god.
At the heart of their worship was philosophy of the wheel.

Abraham embraced a new vision for life.
As a result, we have the Word and Jesus.

What’s in your imagination?
