The parables of Jesus are Jesus painting us a portrait of God.
Most folks can’t define “prodigal,” and the main character is neither of the sons. Jesus’ portrait is of the father.

Let’s consider the youngest son

- Luke 15:13 – “the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country”
