Pilgrims 2,500 years ago on a journey up the mountains surrounding Jerusalem to worship God at the Temple navigated obstacles, as do Christians today. (I Corinthians 3:16)
Psalm 120 is not a happy song, but honest and necessary.
One of the biggest questions of our day: Am I being lied to?
- The Psalmist is crying for truth. Psalm 120:2; Ephesians 4:18-19
- Lying is costly. Psalm 120:3-4
Ephesians 4:22-24 - Our help won’t come from the secular world. Psalm 120:5-6
Psalm 121:1-2
Hebrews 13:6 - The way out is to repent.
John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, and John all proclaimed the same message.
