We watch and pay dearly the athletes who crave excellence and winning.

Righteousness is the quality of being  or rightful.
Regarding God: Deuteronomy 32:3-4

Regarding humanity:
Romans 3:10
Romans 3:23
Is Jesus tormenting us with His promise of Matthew 5:6?

Craving righteousness is an attitude of those who have embraced God’s .
Justification is the legal act of God in which He declares the believing sinner to be righteous in His sight, not because of their own works, but because of Christ’s righteousness credited to them.
Romans 3:21-24

Crave righteousness cautiously:

  1. Pleasing .  Romans 12:2
  2. Trusting ours, rather than .
  3. Trusting  over .

Our craving for righteousness will only be satisfied when we are in  with Jesus.
II Corinthians 5:21
I Peter 2:24

How can we encourage a craving for Jesus?

  1. on a future with Jesus.  Philippians 3:14.
  2. Focus on God’s .  John 5:44
  3. the flame.  Leviticus 6:13; II Timothy 1:6
  4. His  is the fire.  Jeremiah 20:9; Psalm 39:2,3
